Run in partnership with Unite students, Clarence Dock Village is perfect for students studying at our Leeds City Campus.

Located only a 15-minute walk from the city centre, Clarence Dock Village is situated next to Leeds Dock and has a mini supermarket and a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants on its doorstep.

You'll be in a flat for between five and six people, each with a fully equipped kitchen and communal dining room. Your room will include a 3/4 bed, a desk, and an en-suite bathroom. Two price points are available, with the slightly more expensive option offering a larger corner room. 

You'll also have access to a free on-site gym, a laundrette, and a large, central common room where you can relax, study or take your friends on in a game of pool.

Every bedroom is fully en-suite and there is a communal kitchen and dining area for every five-to-six-person flat.

Guarantors and the booking process

A guarantor is required as part of the booking process at Clarence Dock Village. A guarantor is someone over the age of 25 who takes joint financial responsibility for your tenancy. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay an amount owed to Unite Students it is your guarantor’s responsibility to do so.
£250 advance rent payment is also required as part of the booking process, It is a payment of a set amount towards your rent instalment.

Clarence Dock Village has easy access to all local transport links. You're less than a 20-minute walk from our Leeds City Campus, with Leeds railway station also in reach. You can take the water taxi along the canal and enjoy a scenic short journey from Leeds Dock to Granary Wharf. 

There are also a range of bus stops within walking distance of Clarence Dock Village, connecting you to different parts of Leeds, including Horsforth.
