Leeds Trinity University provides students with advice and support on a range of health issues. It is advised that all new students are registered with a local GP and dentist.
Registering with a local GP practice
It's important to register with a local GP practice and dentist in the area you'll be living in to ensure you receive the necessary care when you need it most. If you are living at our Main Campus, you'll be within the catchment area of our local GP surgery, The Ireland Wood and Horsforth Medical Practice.
Please note all appointments are held at The New Croft Surgery and are not at our Main Campus, but the University shuttle bus, which runs from campus, stops outside the practice.
If you’re going to be living at Clarence Dock Village, the nearest GP surgery is Leeds Student Medical Practice on Blenheim Court.
If you would like to find another surgery, please see the gov.uk 'find a GP' service.
If you have any queries, please contact Student Support on studentsupport@leedstrinity.ac.uk or 0113 283 7196.
Meningitis and MMR vaccinations
Please check with your current GP that your meningitis and MMR vaccinations are up-to-date before studying with us.
