Leeds Trinity University has an established reputation for outstanding vocational training, industry-relevant studies, and leading academic research in journalism.
You'll be taught by journalists with industry experience across regional, national and international press, radio and TV, and develop practical skills as you train in our industry-leading facilities.
Studying journalism is exciting, challenging and rewarding. It prepares you for a range of careers in content creation, not only in print and digital newsrooms, but also in multimedia content production, press offices and marketing agencies.
Our students have completed placements at organisations including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Leeds United, Leeds Rhinos, Sky Sports and The Sunday Times. In addition to the professional work placements which form an integral part of your degree, we offer plenty of opportunities to add value to your university experience and enhance your CV. Depending on the degree you choose, you can study, work or volunteer overseas.
You'll also have the opportunity to get involved and hear from industry experts in our annual Journalism and Media Week, with recent speakers including Jeremy Vine.
Our focus on your future means that by the time you graduate, you'll have lots of industry experience and contacts to kickstart your career as a journalist.
