Leeds Trinity first opened its doors as a teacher training college in 1966 and we’ve been helping to mould young minds ever since.
Our comprehensive teacher training programmes are designed to prepare you for a career in the education sector and give you the skills needed to help shape the future of your community.
We offer teacher training at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. At Undergraduate level, we offer degrees in Primary Education with QTS, which are perfect for those who want to one day work in a primary school, but don't have the qualifications needed for entry onto our PGCE courses.
At Postgraduate level, we offer PGCE primary courses in two different age groups and PGCE secondary courses in different subject areas. We also offer the choice of three unique delivery models, ensuring that you can learn in the way that best suits you.
Upon completion of your degree and having met the Teachers’ Standards, you’ll be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
